Comment(s): This cozy campsite is nestled near the rim of the gorge. The site is just a short walk from the nearby designated parking space northwest of Penitentiary Glen Nature Center. The nature center closes each day at 5 pm. Public flush restrooms and a drinking fountain are located near Nature Play less than one mile from the site.

A picnic table, a grill and a fire ring are provided. Please note that water and electricity are NOT provided. Lake Metroparks recommends campers bring potable water for use during their stay.
