Ever dream of driving a draft horse, riding English and Western style, or owning a horse? Experience horsemanship and a trip to a horse farm. Campers ride horses led by experienced horsemen. Camp meets Monday through Friday.
Thank you for registering with Lake Metroparks. You will receive a confirmation before camp starts with further information and details.
Lake Metroparks welcomes you to camp! The following information will help to assure that your child will have a safe and enjoyable camp experience.
-Please print out and bring all completed forms with you on the first day of camp.
-Please send your child to camp each day dressed for the weather. No open-toed shoes are allowed. Some camp activities will be held outside, regardless of the weather. You may need a raincoat, hat, coat, gloves, or boots as necessary. You may send a backpack to camp with extra clothes. Your child will need to bring his/her own lunch each day (refrigeration is not available).
-Camp starts at 9:00 am, please be on time. You will be required to sign your child in and out every day. If someone other than you will be picking up your child, please indicate it on the sign in sheet in the morning. Anyone, other than yourself, picking your child up after camp will be required to show a Photo ID each day. If you are going to be late picking up your child, please call the park at 440-256-2122 so that we can reassure your child that you are on the way.
-Notification of any cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the start of camp to receive a refund.
