Painesville Township Park Ballfield Reservations

Field reservations begin on January 8th. Fields are reservable March 15th through October 15th weather permitting.

• Painesville Township Park has three regulation Baseball/Softball fields.
• Lake Metroparks maintenance staff provides all the field maintenance and field preparation for all ballfields at Painesville Township Park.
• Lake Metroparks reserves the right to assign, change, and/or cancel field reservations due to field conditions or if unforeseen circumstances arise.

GENERAL FIELD CONDITIONS:

• Call the Painesville Township Park monitored voicemail at (440) 639-9951. Messages will be returned by Lake Metroparks staff until 3pm (on weekdays).

FIELD CANCELLATIONS/DELAYS:

• WEEKDAY field renters will be contacted prior to 3pm if fields are deemed unplayable by Lake Metroparks staff. After 3pm, renters are responsible for checking the condition of their assigned field and determining if it is playable.

• WEEKEND (excluding tournaments) field renters are responsible for checking the condition of their assigned field and determining if it is playable.

• For TOURNAMENTS, call the Painesville Township Park monitored voicemail at (440) 639-9951 up to 2 hours prior to start of tournament to check if fields are playable. Messages will be returned by Lake Metroparks staff as soon as possible.

Field availability can be seen below and is subject to change. Any available fields that have not been reserved and are posted as "OPEN" can be used on a first come first served basis at no cost. Availability changes frequently *ALWAYS check the sign posted at the field prior to use*

Fees:

• Field-Unlined without bases $25.00 per hour per field (2 hour minimum). All Day $110.00
• Field-Lined with bases $30.00 per hour per field (2 hour minimum). All Day $150.00
• Holiday rates apply for park holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. Additional 25% will be added to the field rental fee for these holidays.

*Field reservations must be made at least seven days in advance*
*The renter must provide Certificate of Liability Insurance prior to using fields*

Field Reservation Cancellation Policy:

• A 48 hour notice prior to gametime is required to cancel a field reservation for a full refund.
• No refunds if no notice or notice of cancellation is less than 48 hours prior to gametime.
• Weather related cancellations-rental fees can be transferred to another date depending on field availability.

Tournament Cancellation Policy:

A tournament is defined as 2 or more fields reserved over a 2 day (consecutively) or longer period of time.

• Full refund if cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to first day of tournament.
• Cancellation of a tournament or field less than 30 days prior to first day of tournament will result in a loss of 50% of the rental fees.
• Weather related cancellations-rental fees can be transferred to another tournament date within the same season/year.
