Summer Parks Plus! program registration begins Monday, April 22 for Lake County residents. Open registration begins Thursday, April 25. Spring program registration and Summer Day Camp registration is open.

Here you'll discover rocks older than the dinosaurs and search for unique plants and animals that call the area home. Sturdy waterproof footwear required. Splash and play in the creek to explore the hidden world that lies beneath the flowing water! We will go for a short hike in and alongside a Lake Metroparks creek. This program requires water shoes, and walking on slippery and uneven terrain. Each child will be provided a bag with identification booklets.
This is a weather-permitting program, and may be canceled due to heavy rains and high water levels.

As one of the most biodiverse rivers that flows into Lake Erie, the Grand River is teeming with fish! Fish are extremely important to a river ecosystem. They provide food for other animals and help keep the water clean, and so much more! From tiny shiners, to trophy steelhead, the Grand River is home to dozens of fish of all shapes and sizes! Learn about these fish through a variety of games and activities! And don't forget to grab a net, and head into the river itself to see how many fish you can find! Registration required.
